About
Snehadhara Foundation is a Bengaluru-based pioneering not-for-profit organisation established in December 2012 and dedicated to Arts Practices for Inclusion (API). The Foundation places arts at the core of teaching and learning, fostering inclusion as the cornerstone of a compassionate society. The organisation runs weekly intervention spaces for children with diverse learning abilities, alternative education programmes for homeschoolers and unschoolers, and immersive in-residence programmes at its Nelamangala campus. Across these initiatives, dance, movement, drama, music, play, and visual arts are used as primary modalities to address learning, academic, and therapeutic goals. Snehadhara is registered as a Karnataka Trust (Registration No. BK IV BNG-BMH 470/2012-2013) and operates two locations: a campus in Nelamangala and a presence in JP Nagar, Bengaluru. The Foundation has worked with around 7,500 children through direct and weekly interventions, with over 70,000 children reached through indirect interventions in schools and other receptive environments, and trained over 2,500 professionals across about 500 organisations across the country.
