The Social Justice Department, Government of Kerala is the state agency responsible for the welfare of differently abled persons, senior citizens, women, transgender persons and other socially disadvantaged groups in Kerala. The department designs and administers a wide range of welfare schemes, scholarships and rehabilitation programmes funded by the state government.
