The Society for Culture & Environment organizes the Bhopal Literature & Art Festival, an annual three-day cultural gathering held at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal. This esteemed festival convenes a diverse group of writers, poets, artists, journalists, scholars, and cultural luminaries from across India. The festival's primary objective is to foster storytelling and evoke human emotions through the powerful mediums of literature and art. Its programming prominently features "Heartland Stories," drawing inspiration from Central India's rich cultural heritage. Attendees can experience a wide array of events, including book launches, insightful panel discussions, captivating tribal art exhibitions, and vibrant live performances. A dedicated "YOUNGRANG" segment specifically caters to students, offering contests in poetry, painting, and storytelling, alongside engaging workshops for young participants. Winning entries from the YOUNGRANG segment are proudly showcased through live recitations and exhibitions during the main festival, encouraging emerging talent. The 2026 edition, marking the festival's 8th year, is set to host over 100 eminent speakers across more than 60 sessions.
