Technovation is a global, non-profit educational organization dedicated to empowering girls to become leaders and innovators. The organization provides its programs to girls and families across India, equipping them with the skills to solve real-world problems through technology. Its flagship program, Technovation Girls, offers a free, 12-week project-based curriculum for girls aged 8-18. Participants work in teams to design and build a mobile app or an AI-powered tool that addresses a specific community need, gaining valuable experience in coding, entrepreneurship, and leadership. The program is distinguished by its strong support network, which includes volunteer mentors, ambassadors, and judges from the technology industry. By connecting Indian participants with a global community, Technovation fosters a collaborative environment for learning and innovation. Since its inception, Technovation has had a significant global impact, reaching hundreds of thousands of young women in over 120 countries. Teams from India have consistently performed well, often winning top honors at the Technovation World Challenge, showcasing the talent and potential of young Indian innovators.
