About
The Better Human Life Foundation is a non-profit that runs WriteToWin, a free national article writing competition on environment and climate change for school students in Grades 6 to 12. It also funds field projects for nature and for children. The Foundation was incorporated on 14 May 2026 as a Section 8 company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act, 2013. Its stated objectives are urban biodiversity restoration, climate literacy, animal welfare and disaster relief. It is led by its founder, Saket Sambhav, and director Subhash Prasad Kumar, a retired district judge. WriteToWin runs in four seasons a year: Spring, Summer, Monsoon and Winter. Each season has its own deadline and a prize pool of up to ₹1,00,000, and entries are judged anonymously by a volunteer expert panel. The field projects include Mission S.E.E.D., which pays school fees and plants mangroves in the Sundarbans with the Sukher Swarga Foundation, and geo-tagged bird nests across Delhi NCR.
