About This Opportunity

The True Blue Fellowship, an initiative by Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs, empowers young people worldwide to address critical ocean, waterway, and climate change issues through creative arts. This year-long fellowship supports youth-led environmental projects that utilize artistic expression as a primary method for awareness and action within local communities.

This program is open to young people aged 13-24 globally. Applicants can participate individually or as part of a group. Projects should focus on environmental and social justice issues related to oceans, waterways, and climate, and must be new or emerging, not older than two years. Applications must be submitted in English.

Selected fellows receive funding up to $2,500 USD, one-on-one mentorship from Bow Seat's Future Blue Youth Council, and access to capacity-building workshops. Participants also gain opportunities to showcase their work globally and join a vibrant community of young environmental leaders.

The fellowship aims to equip youth leaders with the tools and resources to implement community-based environmental solutions, encourage creative expression for climate justice, and foster global collaboration among environmental advocates.
