About this opportunity

The Certified Course for Young Tale Makers in Training is a storytelling bootcamp for children run by Kathalaya's International Academy of Storytelling, formerly known as Story Weavers.

The program is open to children aged 8 to 15 years, with two weekend sessions totaling 10 hours of instruction. No prior storytelling experience is required, and sessions are conducted in person at the academy's centre in Bengaluru.

Through guided storytelling exercises, participants build confidence, clarity, and creative expression while strengthening language proficiency and everyday communication skills. Each participant receives a certificate of completion from Kathalaya's International Academy of Storytelling.

Kathalaya has trained more than 99,000 educators and storytellers since 1998 and has reached over 500,000 children through its programs, drawing on decades of storytelling pedagogy developed by founder Geeta Ramanujam.
