Rounds & format

Phase 1 involves online submission of the completed game project based on the given theme. In Phase 2, shortlisted projects from the initial review qualify for a regional jury round. Regional winners then advance to the Design Championship Final.

How entries are judged

Entries are judged on: Relevance to Theme (20%), Fun & Engagement (20%), Game Play mechanics and smoothness (30%), WOW Factor including originality and creativity (20%), and Presentation & Communication (10%).

Selection process

Projects are shortlisted based on the judging criteria for regional rounds. Regional winners are selected to compete in the national finale. The jury's decision is final.
