About This Opportunity

The Diamond Challenge is a prestigious global entrepreneurship competition for high school students, organized by Horn Entrepreneurship at the University of Delaware. It provides a unique platform for young minds to explore their entrepreneurial spirit by developing and presenting original business or social venture concepts. The competition offers free resources, including a comprehensive curriculum, to guide participants through the entrepreneurial process from problem discovery to pitching their ideas.

Participants form teams and choose between two tracks: Business Innovation, focused on solving customer problems and generating revenue, or Social Innovation, aimed at addressing societal or environmental issues for positive impact. The challenge emphasizes experiential learning, encouraging students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and gain firsthand experience in creating scalable solutions. It's designed to unleash creativity and promote purposeful entrepreneurial action.

Beyond the competition, the Diamond Challenge fosters a global community of like-minded peers, mentors, and industry professionals. Finalists are invited to the Limitless World Summit, a multi-day event that offers networking opportunities, workshops, and presentations from world-class speakers, further enhancing their entrepreneurial journey and providing pathways to higher education.
