About This Opportunity

The Global Issues Problem Solving (GIPS) competition, offered by Future Problem Solving Program International (FPSPI), is an engaging educational program. It challenges students to apply critical and creative thinking skills to address complex global issues, encouraging them to research current events and future trends to develop innovative solutions.

This program is open to students in grades 4 through 12, allowing participation either individually or as part of a team of up to four members. Participants develop essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creative problem-solving, research, and effective communication, gaining recognition at state, national, and international levels.
