About This Opportunity
Go Coderz is an annual national coding competition organized by Singhania Quest+ (Singhania Education Services Ltd.) in association with the World Book of Records, London. The competition is open to students in Grades 3 to 10, divided into four grade groups judged separately: Group A (Grades 3-4), Group B (Grades 5-6), Group C (Grades 7-8), and Group D (Grades 9-10). Students compete individually by building original coding projects using one of six supported platforms: Scratch Jr. (youngest learners), Scratch (block-based), MIT App Inventor (mobile app development), IDLE/Python, GDevelop (game development), or Visual Studio (general programming).
The competition runs in two rounds. Round 1 is free to enter: students receive assignment briefs one week before the competition date and have 7 days to complete and submit their project through the Singhania Quest+ portal. Pre-competition support is provided through free online masterclasses (pre-recorded videos and live sessions) for all registered students. Top performers from Round 1 advance to Round 2, which requires a fee of Rs. 300 per student.
The top prize is the Gautam Singhania Coding Scholarship worth Rs. 1 lakh, awarded to the national winner. Medals, prizes, and certificates are awarded across the grade groups. All participants receive a digital participation certificate. Schools that achieve strong participation levels receive engagement awards. The competition has reached 50,000+ students across 25+ Indian states and 100+ schools in its inaugural cycle, with school-mediated bulk registration available for institutions.
