About This Opportunity
The Greenheart Travel High School Summer Abroad Program offers short-term immersion experiences during the summer break. The program includes two tracks: High School Summer Abroad, where students live with host families and attend local high schools for one to two months, and Teen Summer Language Camps featuring one to eight weeks of language classes with cultural excursions.
The High School Summer Abroad track is open to students aged 14 to 18 with a minimum 2.75 GPA, with destinations including Argentina, Costa Rica, and New Zealand. Teen Summer Language Camps welcome students aged 12 to 18 across eight countries including France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Spain, with 20 hours per week of language instruction.
Participants develop language skills, cultural awareness, and independence through daily interaction with host families and peers from around the world. The shorter duration makes this an accessible option for students seeking international experience without committing to a full academic term.
Scholarships including the First Time Traveler Scholarship of up to $14,000 are available. Language camp scholarship announcements for Summer 2026 were made in January 2026.
