About this opportunity

The GSB Scholarship for Gaud Saraswat Brahman Students is an annual financial assistance programme administered by The G.S.B Scholarship League (under Saraswathi Krishna Kamath Charities), one of India's oldest community scholarship organisations. The scholarship supports GSB community students from Class 5 through undergraduate studies who come from financially backward families.

School students from Classes 5 to 10 receive an annual scholarship of ₹2,500. Students at the junior college, diploma, and undergraduate levels may apply separately, with amounts disbursed based on course level. In addition, students pursuing higher education abroad or in India may apply for interest-free study loans of up to ₹3,00,000.

Applications are accepted in a tiered manner by academic level: Classes 5-10 (deadline July), PUC and junior college (August), Diploma, BA, BCom, and BSc (September), and MBBS, BE, BArch, and BPharm (October). The combined last date across all categories is October 31.

Applicants email their name, surname, mobile number, and Aadhaar to info@gsbscholarshipleague.org and receive an SMS with an application link within 15 days. The application form must be completed with mark sheets, fee receipts, a study certificate, and Aadhaar. No corrections are permitted after submission. Disbursement is made directly to the student's bank account.
