Qualified students will then receive information on how to register for the International Geography Championships.

- Participants must adhere to all competition rules and guidelines set by International Academic Competitions.
- Fair play and academic integrity are strictly enforced across all events.
- Students competing in Elementary, Intermediate, or Middle School divisions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- High School division students may attend independently.
- Refund policies apply based on the date of cancellation.
Fees and financial support
Fee details
The base fee for competing students will $1875 USD. An early bird discount of $100 will be available, making it $1775 USD. This fee includes program fees, sightseeing entry, tour guide fees, a public transit pass, and commemorative items (T-shirt, hat, pin). It generally does not include most meals or accommodations, though optional accommodation supplements may be available for high school students.
Refund policy
Full refunds minus a $50 processing fee were available for a specific time period. No refunds will be available after that.

Winners of the international geography championship will be selected based on their performance in different events.
