About This Opportunity

The International Green Warrior Olympiad (IGWO) is an online environmental science competition for students in grades 1-12. It aims to raise awareness and encourage action towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Olympiad is open to students from any school across the globe. The exam is conducted online and requires web-enabled devices such as laptops, tablets, or desktops with webcams. For Class 1 students, parents or teachers can assist them during the exam.

By participating, students develop a deeper understanding of sustainable practices, resource conservation, and eco-friendly technologies. The competition fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to environmental issues. Participants also gain a sense of personal responsibility for contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world.

The IGWO syllabus aligns with 8 of the 17 SDGs, empowering young minds to understand and drive sustainable actions. These goals include Zero Hunger, Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, and Climate Action.
