About This Opportunity
The SOF International Hindi Olympiad (IHO) is an annual academic competition organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for students in classes 3 to 10. This prestigious competition aims to assess and improve students' proficiency in the Hindi language, including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills. It provides a platform for young students to showcase their talent and develop a deeper appreciation for Hindi.
Students enrolled in SOF-recognized schools from classes 3 to 10 are eligible to participate. There are no other specific eligibility criteria beyond being an Indian national and studying in a recognized institution. Individual student registrations are not accepted; applications must be submitted through the respective schools.
Participants will gain valuable recognition at international, zonal, and school levels. Winners receive cash prizes, medals, and certificates, while all participants receive a Student Performance Report (SPR) and a participation certificate. The Olympiad helps in developing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and cognitive abilities, preparing students for a competitive world.
The IHO is a single-level examination conducted offline during school hours. The syllabus is based on CBSE, ICSE, and state board curriculums, covering various aspects of Hindi language and its applications.
