About This Opportunity
The Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) conducts the General Knowledge International Olympiad (GKIO) to assess and enhance students' general knowledge across a wide array of subjects. This competition is designed for students from Class 1 to Class 10, focusing on topics beyond regular textbooks such as environment, science & technology, geography, history, plants & animals, entertainment, life skills, language & literature, transport, sports, civics, and politics.
The GKIO aims to foster overall development, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for future competitive exams. Participants can choose between annual and monthly Olympiads. The annual exam typically has two rounds, with Round 1 in December and Round 2 in February.
The curriculum aligns with CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards, making it accessible to a wide range of students across India. ITO provides comprehensive study materials, workbooks, and sample papers to aid preparation, ensuring a holistic learning experience.
The exam is available in both online and offline modes, catering to individual and school registrations. Online exams can be taken from any internet-enabled device, offering flexibility and convenience.
