Winning teams receive Amazon gift vouchers along with the Knowledge Quest Quiz National Champion title; runner-up teams are also felicitated. Exact voucher amounts for the most recent edition were not published, but earlier editions awarded Rs 10,000 per member to the champion team and Rs 2,500 per member to the third-placed team.

Rounds and format
The competition runs in three stages. The qualifying round is a timed online quiz conducted over video call, with the top-scoring teams from each group advancing to an online semi-final. The highest-scoring semi-final teams then compete in a live, on-stage championship round to determine the final rankings.
How entries are judged
Teams are scored on the number of correct answers given within the allotted time for each round; higher cumulative scores determine advancement from the qualifying round through the semi-final to the championship round.
Selection process
Teams advance to the next round based on their quiz score at each stage: the top two teams from each qualifying group move to the semi-final, and the two highest-scoring semi-final teams from each group advance to the on-stage championship round.
