About this opportunity
Kreativity Show Junior is Kr8ivity League's national innovation and prototype-building competition for students in Grades 6 to 8, who research a real-world problem and build a working prototype to solve it.
Teams of up to three students choose one theme, Healthcare, Agriculture, or Smart Infrastructure, and develop an original solution. The competition runs through an Ideation round where teams submit a written idea synopsis, a virtual Zonal round where teams submit a video presentation of their working prototype, and a National Finale.
Participants build research, prototyping, and presentation skills while learning to design solutions for real communities. Zonal qualifiers present live at IIT Delhi, competing for national recognition before an expert jury.

Rounds & format
The competition runs in three stages: an Ideation round where teams submit a 300-500 word synopsis of their idea (non-eliminating, but scored), a Zonal round where teams submit a 7-minute video demonstrating their working prototype along with a detailed synopsis, and a National Finale where zonal qualifiers present live at IIT Delhi.
How entries are judged
Scored out of 100: problem solving and critical thinking (20), STEM and computational thinking (20), innovation and practical implementation (20), communication and presentation (20), and teamwork and collaboration (20).
Selection process
Ideation round scores carry forward into the Zonal round. The top teams from each zone qualify for the National Finale based on their combined score.
