About This Opportunity
Kshitij Weekend Camps is an ongoing program of residential overnight camps by Kshitij - Redefining Fun, designed for children aged 6 to 16 across locations within a few hours of Mumbai and Pune. Each camp program is a distinct 1-2 night experience with a specific theme: adventure sports, astronomy and stargazing, farm life, wildlife and forest, or lakeside and mountain trails.
Activity types across programs include adventure sports (rock climbing, rappelling, zip-lining, Burma bridge, commando bridge, free fall, flying fox, rifle shooting), nature and environment education (bird watching, guided forest trails, farm visits and animal care, river swimming), astronomy (stargazing with 10-inch Dobsonian telescopes, constellation identification, ISS tracking, star trail photography), arts and life skills (art and craft, yoga, jungle cooking, campfire activities, team games), and village life experiences.
All programs follow a three-tier safety protocol with certified instructors, industry-standard safety equipment, and female facilitators available. AC bus transport from multiple Mumbai pickup points (Vashi, Amar Mahal, Sion, Andheri, Borivali) is included for most programs. Accommodation and all meals are included in the camp fee.
Programs include: Stargazing Night at Saphale (ages open, 1 night), FarmVenture at Wada (ages 7-12, 2 days, Rs. 5,300), Adventure Mania at Andheri/Bhandup (ages 7-10, Rs. 4,800), Wild Trails near Pune (ages 9-14), Explore You at Khopoli (ages 9-15), Berry Land at Panchgani (ages 9-15, 5 days, Rs. 20,800), Lakeside Adventure at Nilshi (ages 8-13), Roots and Wings parent-child camp (ages 6-10), Forest and Folks at Binsar Himalayas (ages 10-16), and a Photography Workshop (ages 12+).
