About this opportunity
Laqshya Badminton Academy's junior badminton coaching program provides structured training for young players, from first-time beginners to competitive juniors, led by a nationally credentialed coaching team.
The program welcomes boys and girls, including a confirmed Under-14 batch, with new students placed into an age and skill-appropriate batch following an on-court trial assessment. No prior badminton experience is required to begin at the beginner level.
Training covers stroke technique, footwork, fitness and match strategy across six national and international standard courts. Players also gain the opportunity to test their skills in the academy's annual Laqshya Cup tournament as they progress through the program.
The program is led by founder M V Murali Krishna, an international player and national champion trained at the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, who has also served on the coaching panel for the Indian badminton team at the 2012 London Olympics.
