Laqshya Badminton Academy

Laqshya Badminton Academy is a private badminton coaching academy established in 2017 by national-level player and coach M V Murali Krishna. Inaugurated by filmmaker S S Rajamouli, the academy is recognized as one of the first dedicated badminton academies in the state, providing structured training for players from beginner to competitive levels. The academy's coaching philosophy rests on three principles: pursuit of excellence, fulfilling potential, and pushing the boundaries of accepted norms. Training spans every stage of player development, from inception and assimilation through practice, tournament simulation and refinement, with an emphasis on giving players room to express their own style while building disciplined, competitive habits. Laqshya Badminton Academy runs coaching batches across age groups and skill levels, alongside recreational play sessions and an in-house pro shop. The academy also organizes the Laqshya Cup, an annual badminton tournament, and its head coach has represented India at international senior badminton championships and served on the coaching panel for the Indian badminton team at the 2012 London Olympics.
