About This Opportunity
The North East India International Model United Nations (NEIMUN) Conference is an annual diplomatic simulation organized by the NEIMUN Foundation. Established in 2013, it is the first Model United Nations conference in Northeast India and the first MUN in India to adopt the UN4MUN format, closely replicating actual United Nations proceedings.
This conference is open to higher secondary students, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and young professionals aged 16 to 25. Delegates develop essential skills including public speaking, negotiation, diplomacy, research, and critical thinking, while addressing critical regional and global challenges.

Prerequisites
- Interest in learning about the United Nations, multilateral diplomacy, and international relations
- Interest in acquiring and polishing skills such as negotiation, debating, public speaking, team building, and leadership
Open to higher secondary students, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and young professionals aged 16 to 25. While there is a special emphasis on representation from all eight Northeastern Indian states, participants from across India and all nationalities are welcome.

Fees & financial support
Fee details
The total fee is ₹4,700, which includes a Delegate Fee of ₹2,200 (covering training materials, delegate kit, committee sessions, workshops, and social events) and a Meals fee of ₹2,500 (for 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 4 dinners, plus snacks). Accommodation is calculated separately.
Refund policy
The delegate fee is non-refundable. Fees for meals and accommodation are refundable upon withdrawal before the conference.
