About This Opportunity
The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Olympiad is an online competition organized by Central Sanskrit University (CSU) in collaboration with Little Guru. It aims to promote and preserve India's rich intellectual traditions, including Vedas, Upanishads, Bharatiya Darshan, Ayurveda, Vedic Mathematics, Indian Literature, Meditation, and Indian Art & Music. This initiative seeks to effectively communicate India's cultural heritage to the new generation.
Students studying or not studying Sanskrit in a recognized school, college, university, or gurukul can participate. The syllabus is designed to be suitable for CBSE, ICSE, SSC, and various state board curriculums. This Olympiad is open to Indian and foreign students from Class 6 to Post Graduate (Ph.D) level.
Participants will deepen their understanding of India's rich heritage and enhance critical thinking and analytical skills. The Olympiad helps in building a strong foundation in Indian knowledge systems and fosters a love for learning. All participants will receive e-certificates, and national, state, and school-level awards will be given to top performers.
The exam is conducted online and consists of multiple-choice questions, match the pair, true/false, and fill in the blanks. There is no negative marking, and the duration is 60 minutes. Participants can choose to take the exam in Sanskrit, Hindi, or English.
