About This Opportunity
Robofest India RoboArts Senior Division is a STEAM-focused robotics competition where student teams build intelligent, interactive robots that perform in visual arts (drawing, kinetic sculptures) or performing arts (dance, music, skits). The Senior Division is part of the global Robofest program organized by Lawrence Technological University and brought to India by Novatech Robo.
The Senior Division is open to students in Classes 9 to 12. Teams of up to five members create a creative concept, build autonomous robots that use sensors to interact with the environment, and present a live performance of up to four minutes followed by a question-and-answer session with judges.
Winners earn certificates and qualify for the Robofest World Championship at Lawrence Technological University in Michigan, USA. All Robofest competitors automatically qualify for an LTU scholarship of three thousand dollars per year. Senior Division RoboArts first-place finishers at the World Championship receive an LTU scholarship certificate worth up to twenty thousand dollars per year for four years.
