About This Opportunity
The SPIC MACAY International Convention is the flagship annual gathering of the SPIC MACAY Movement
, bringing together maestros, students, volunteers, and cultural enthusiasts from across India and the world for a seven-day ashram-like immersive experience. The convention features classical concerts from dawn to dusk, workshops in music, dance, craft, and cinema, heritage walks, yoga intensives, shramdaan (community service), and holistic meals.
School students may attend through their institution's group registration pathway, including students below 18 years of age. Individual registration is generally limited to college students and adult volunteers aged 18 and above. The convention provides exposure to numerous classical artists and gurus over the seven-day period.
The convention is held annually at IIT campuses across India. Accommodation and meals are provided to registered delegates at the hosting IIT campus, making it an affordable and immersive cultural experience for school and college students alike.
