The Summer at Doon Leadership Programme is a two-week fully residential program hosted at The Doon School's Chandbagh Estate in Dehradun. Established in 2014, the program inspires young minds to evolve from thought to action and from success to significance through a blend of academic sessions, practical experiences, and creative exploration.
Open to students of Classes 9-12 (ages 14-18), the program welcomes both boys and girls from across India. Applicants must submit an online application that includes an essay on their leadership agenda, their last two progress reports, and a letter of recommendation.
Participants engage in classroom discussions, case studies, theatre-based learning, outdoor activities, adventure sports, and community service. The curriculum is guided by The Doon School's experienced faculty alongside distinguished alumni mentors who lead by example.
The program cultivates courageous, creative, and empathetic future citizens through Socratic dialogues, experiential learning, team challenges, and self-reflection in a safe and supportive residential environment.
