The Surjit Hockey Academy Free Training Program offers grassroots hockey coaching at no cost to children aged 5 to 16 years at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar. Training covers technical drills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning, delivered by a coaching staff that includes Olympian Rajinder Singh (Dronacharya Awardee), Ms. Pardeep Kaur, and Mrs. Sita Devi, all NIS-trained. The non-residential program incorporates Bhangra-based fitness, motivational interactions with internationals, and tournament participation opportunities. Over 200 players currently train at the academy, with admission free of charge and hockey equipment provided to participants.
