About This Opportunity
The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Program is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Tata Capital Limited, designed to support the higher education of students from economically weaker sections of society in India. This scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers and ensure deserving students have access to quality education, fostering their academic and career aspirations.
This scholarship is open to Indian nationals currently studying in Classes 11 and 12, or pursuing general graduation (B.Com, B.Sc, B.A, etc.), diploma, or ITI courses at recognized institutions across India. Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in their preceding class and have an annual family income not exceeding INR 2.5 lakh.
Selected students will receive financial assistance covering up to 80% of their course fees or a specific amount, whichever is less, to help fulfill their academic dreams. The scholarship amount varies based on the academic level, providing crucial support for tuition expenses. This is a one-time scholarship program, with funds reimbursed directly to scholars against their tuition fees.
The selection process involves initial shortlisting based on academic merit and financial background, followed by document verification and a telephonic interview. This comprehensive evaluation ensures that support reaches those who need it most and are committed to their educational journey.
