About This Opportunity
The Young Researchers for Social Impact (YRSI) program by YLAC offers high school students a five-week online research mentorship. This program aims to build capacity in young leaders to address contemporary public issues.
Open to students in grades 10-12 across India and internationally, YRSI is ideal for those passionate about research and social impact. Students work in small groups on real-world issues, conducting research and stakeholder consultations. Upon completion, participants receive a graded certificate from YLAC, and scholarships are available for eligible students.

Fees & financial support
Fee details
The program fee is ₹28,000 plus 18% GST. This fee is payable only after selection for the program.
Financial support
Need-based and merit-based scholarships are available, covering between 50% and 100% of the program fee. Up to six students per edition can receive a scholarship. Applicants must complete an additional scholarship form by the scholarship deadline.
Refund policy
YLAC will refund 100% of your payment if the request is received 30 days before the beginning of the program. For requests received 15 days before the program, the refund amount shall be 50% of the payment received. YLAC shall not be able to issue any refunds in case the intimation reaches us at a shorter notice.
