Amar Ujala Foundation (AUF) serves as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Amar Ujala Limited, a prominent Hindi newspaper in India. The foundation is dedicated to fostering a better future through comprehensive empowerment, with a strong focus on socio-economic inclusion and addressing critical grassroots issues. AUF implements various interventions across key areas, including the empowerment of the girl child, environmental protection, support for the elderly, and nurturing excellence in youth. The foundation strives to create positive societal impact through direct, on-the-ground actions, particularly benefiting less advantaged communities. Since its establishment in 2012, Amar Ujala Foundation has launched numerous field activities that enable broader sections of society to live with dignity and pride. The foundation's extensive network and deep reach across several states allow it to significantly expand the service outreach of its impactful programs. Key initiatives include the widely recognized Atul Maheshwari Chhatravritti and Dorilal Agrawal Scholarship programs, along with health check-up camps and blood donation drives. AUF also conducts vital awareness campaigns on topics such as self-defense, child marriage, and cyber security, promoting informed citizenship.
