HDFC Bank Parivartan

HDFC Bank's 'Parivartan' initiative is a comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program dedicated to fostering educational development across India. The program focuses on enhancing the quality of learning by supporting various interventions, including teacher training, scholarship programs, career guidance, and significant infrastructure support for schools. 'Parivartan' aims to bridge critical gaps in resources and infrastructure, complementing government efforts in the education sector. The programs are designed to empower educators, foster digital literacy, and transform traditional schools into smart learning spaces, creating an inclusive and future-ready education ecosystem. HDFC Bank also offers the Educational Crisis Support Scholarship (ECSS) to meritorious and financially needy students from underprivileged backgrounds, covering school to postgraduate levels. The initiative has impacted over 2.16 crore students and trained over 20.22 lakh teachers over 10 years, supporting more than 2.87 lakh schools. Additionally, HDFC Bank conducts financial literacy workshops for communities, including children, to enable informed financial decisions. The bank's efforts extend to supporting school renovations, providing sanitation units, and promoting effective pedagogy through innovative learning methods.
