About
India MUN: Youth for Climate Action is a pan-India nonprofit initiative founded in 2020 under Gaia The Earth Foundation. The organization is India's first MUN focused entirely on Climate Action and Innovation as core themes. Recognized as an Actor of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030) by UNEP and FAO, India MUN provides a year-long platform that nurtures conscious leadership among young people. The initiative goes beyond traditional MUN formats by integrating environmental action with diplomatic simulation. India MUN operates multiple programs including the annual National Conference, Young Forest Ambassador Challenge, Youth Leadership Program, and the BuzzOnEarth India Hackathon. The organization is based in Bengaluru and serves students nationwide.
