Japanese Language School Teachers Association (JALSTA)

Japanese Language Teachers' Association of India (JALSTA) is a non-profit body of school-level Japanese language educators based in New Delhi. The association was founded in 2010 and registered under the Societies Act in 2015. JALSTA promotes the teaching and learning of Japanese in Indian schools, supports educators with continuous professional development, and builds awareness of Japanese language and culture among Indian students. The association is part of The JF Sakura Nihongo Network. Core activities include teacher training workshops, the annual Japanese Mini Camp for students, TADOKU extensive reading sessions, and online workshops for language educators. The association also operates a membership programme for Japanese language teachers across India.
