About
Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) is India's first privately funded museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Established in 2010, it is a non-commercial, not-for-profit institution supported by the Shiv Nadar Foundation. The museum brings together significant collections of Indian and international modern and contemporary works, presented through curated exhibitions. It places strong emphasis on making art accessible to a wide public audience. KNMA runs an active programme of education and outreach initiatives aimed at nurturing a museum-going culture among young people. These include artist-led workshops and the annual Craftopia summer camp for children. Through its exhibitions, public programmes and learning initiatives, the museum supports contemporary artists and encourages creative engagement across generations.
