About
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is a US-based nonprofit organisation founded in 1987 with the mission to bring the power of entrepreneurship education to learners, educators, and decision-makers so that all young people can own their futures. NFTE operates across seven US regions and internationally, with programs reaching students primarily in underserved communities. NFTE's flagship global initiative is the World Series of Innovation (WSI), a free, online competition for young innovators aged 11 to 18 that challenges participants to design bold solutions to real-world problems aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Each edition engages tens of thousands of youth from dozens of countries. Beyond WSI, NFTE delivers integrated entrepreneurship curricula, educator professional development, and mentorship programs that build financial literacy, business fundamentals, and innovation mindset. NFTE has reached approximately 1.5 million learners worldwide and works with corporate partners including MetLife Foundation, PayPal, EY, and Citi Foundation.
