Prerana

Prerana is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the education-to-employment gap for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The organization provides comprehensive support through scholarships, mentoring, counseling, and skill-development training. Prerana primarily focuses on first-generation learners from rural areas and girl students in South Karnataka. The organization actively works to prevent dropouts from senior secondary school onwards by combining crucial financial aid with academic and career guidance. Through its impactful scholarship and skills programs, Prerana has positively influenced over eight thousand students. A significant majority of these beneficiaries are pursuing their education in rural colleges, with a large proportion being female students.
