About

TED-Ed is the youth and education initiative of TED, the nonprofit organization known for its Technology, Entertainment and Design talks. It creates free educational content and programs, including original animated lessons and student-facing initiatives, for teachers and students worldwide. The organization runs TED-Ed Student Talks and TED-Ed Clubs, which help students identify personal ideas and develop them into TED-style talks, alongside a customizable lesson-building platform used by educators to pair TED-Ed and YouTube videos with discussion questions. TED-Ed's network includes hundreds of thousands of teachers who use its resources in classrooms and clubs. TED-Ed is part of TED Conferences, LLC, which operates under the nonprofit TED Foundation. Its animated lessons are produced through collaborations between TED speakers, fellows, educators, animators, and subject-matter experts, and its programs reach students and facilitators across more than 130 countries.
