About This Opportunity

ATL Tinkerpreneur Bootcamp is a flagship summer program by Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog, designed to enable school students to tinker from the comfort of their homes and emerge as young entrepreneurs. The bootcamp introduces students to 21st century digital, product, and entrepreneurship skills through expert sessions, curated learning resources, do-it-yourself content, and structured assignments.

The program is open to school students across India, including those from non-ATL schools, with participation traditionally available to students in middle and senior secondary grades. Students form teams, work with Mentors of Change from AIM's Mentor India network, and progress through weekly modules culminating in their own digital products or ventures addressing real societal needs.

Participants gain hands-on exposure to ideation, product development, prototyping, and pitching. The bootcamp includes live expert sessions, mentor evaluations, quizzes, and a feedback mechanism. Past editions have offered top teams internship and funding-linked opportunities through partners such as the Indian School of Business.

The program is delivered virtually and has historically been offered in multiple Indian languages to enable wider reach. It carries the credibility of being a Government of India initiative under the Atal Innovation Mission ecosystem.
