About This Opportunity

The Berklee Music Production Workshop is a three-day intensive programme held on the campus of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Designed for students aged 15 and above with some production background, the workshop provides hands-on training across a broad range of music production disciplines with faculty from Berklee's renowned Music Production and Engineering Department.

Participants customise their experience by selecting from concurrent breakout sessions covering critical listening techniques, record production, multitrack mixing and recording, mastering, project and home studio design, turntable techniques, DJ production skills, vocal production, and the business of music production.

The workshop concludes with a keynote presentation from an established music industry professional, providing participants with insight into real-world careers in music production. Evening lab sessions offer additional hands-on studio time to apply skills developed during the day.

Participants are required to bring a laptop with DAW software such as Ableton Live, Pro Tools, or Logic, and a MIDI keyboard. Some production background is expected. All instruction is conducted in English.

Total programme cost is $1,805 USD, comprising $1,755 tuition and a non-refundable $50 registration fee. Optional on-campus housing is available at $537 for the programme duration. The workshop draws participants from across the world and is part of Berklee's broader summer programme offerings.
