About This Opportunity
The FLAME University Summer Immersion Program (FUSIP) is a residential experience designed to introduce high school students to the world of liberal education. Conducted on the 60-acre FLAME University campus in Pune, the program combines academic and experiential learning across diverse disciplines over ten days.
Students explore subjects spanning psychology, public policy, computer science, creative writing, fine and performing arts, humanities, climate change, marketing, and artificial intelligence. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, engagement with diverse perspectives, and hands-on learning through activities such as calligraphy, dance, pottery, music, theater, film appreciation, and data visualization.
Beyond academics, participants engage in rural field visits, outdoor adventures, life skills training, and sports. The program offers interactions with FLAME University alumni and faculty, providing insights into liberal education and multidisciplinary career pathways.
FUSIP aims to strengthen knowledge and skills through a mix of academic and non-academic sessions, providing a strong foundation for success in college and beyond. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
