IIGF India's International Dance Contest

India's International Groovefest (IIGF) is an annual multi-category international competitive dance championship organized by Padanyaas Entertainment. The competition provides a global platform for Indian dancers and the Indian diaspora, promoting Indian cultural heritage through classical, semi-classical, folk, and freestyle dance forms.

The competition runs in two stages. The first is a free online Audition Round where participants submit a dance performance video through an official Google Form. Judges evaluate submissions and select contestants for the Finale, which is held at an international venue. Past editions have been staged in Dubai, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Vietnam, with the 2026 Finale scheduled in Bali, Indonesia.

The contest covers four primary dance styles: Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Kathakali, Odissi, Manipuri, Mohiniyattam, Sattriya), Semi-Classical Dance, Folk Dance (Chhau, Ghoomar, Lavani, Dandiya, Bhangra, Garba, and others), and Freestyle Dance (Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Breaking, Bollywood, and Latin Ballroom). Competitions are divided into Under-14 and 14-and-above age divisions. An International School Dance Competition for school teams (ages 5-16) is also held. Each participant may enter only one dance category.

The total prize pool is INR 5,00,000. The Ultimate Solo Winner receives INR 1,00,000 and the Ultimate Group Winner receives INR 3,00,000. The Ultimate School Winner also receives INR 1,00,000. All participants receive e-certificates. Winners additionally receive trophies, medals, and access to a judge meet-and-greet. The competition has grown to over 2,800 dancers from 21 countries across its editions.
