All participants who attempt the exam receive a Participation E-Certificate. Merit E-Certificates (Gold, Silver, Bronze) are awarded to students scoring 70% and above.

How to apply
- 1Students can register directly online through the IOF website.
- 2Schools can register their students by collecting fees and details, then submitting them to IOF via email or the IOF portal.
- 3Registered students can log in to the student portal to pay for the olympiads if registering individually.
Rules and guidelines
- Participants must take the exam from their residence or any place with computer and internet access.
- A working camera/webcam is mandatory for appearing in the olympiad.
- No tab switching is allowed during the examination; doing so will result in auto-submission after three warnings.
- Use of unfair means, including recording the question paper or having another person visible on camera, will lead to disqualification.
- Prizes won by students will be sent to the school for distribution, not directly to students.

For students studying in India, the fee is ₹150 for each Olympiad. A 20% discount is offered if a student selects 5 or more Olympiads. For students studying outside India, the fee is USD 8 for each Olympiad, with a 20% discount on selecting 5 or more Olympiads. Indian students whose parents were martyred during defense operations can participate for free.
