About This Opportunity
The TIMES NIE Spotlight competition, a collaboration between the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SaPa) and Times NIE, is one of India's largest inter-school music competitions. It provides a significant platform for young musicians to showcase their talents across various genres, including Indian Light Classical Vocal, and gain national recognition.
Participation is open to students from Grade 3 upwards and is exclusively for those enrolled in Times NIE member schools or SaPa in Schools partner institutions. The competition is structured into two main age groups, Grades 3-5 and Grades 6 and above, ensuring students compete with their peers for a fair and age-appropriate evaluation of their skills.
