The International Neuroscience Olympiad (INO) is a global research-based competition designed to inspire young minds in the field of neuroscience. It emphasizes understanding contemporary neuroscience, applying theoretical concepts to real-world problems, and fostering active involvement in research. The Olympiad aims to cultivate critical qualities such as creativity, critical thinking, and analytical skills, which are essential across all scientific disciplines.
This competition is open to students enrolled in a recognized high school, secondary school, or homeschool program, including accredited online programs. College freshmen are also eligible if they meet the age requirements. Participants must be under 19 years old as of December 30th, 2025. Age verification may be required using official documentation.
