About this opportunity

The MIG Cricket Club Coaching Academy is the in-house junior development programme of one of Mumbai's oldest cricket clubs. It runs two structured seasons each year, a Round-the-Year camp from October to March and a Summer camp during April and May, giving young cricketers continuous access to coached practice, net sessions, and match exposure.

The academy is open to children between 7 and 20 years of age, with dedicated streams for the under-14 and under-17 age groups. Both club members' children and other children are welcome to enrol, and participants can choose between morning and evening batches based on schedule.

Through sustained coaching and match-environment exposure, the programme helps participants analyse their strength, stamina, and weaknesses, develop technical skills across batting, bowling, and fielding, and build the temperament needed for competitive cricket. Coaches actively identify talented players and recommend them for representation in junior tournaments.

The academy operates from the MIG Cricket Club ground in Bandra East, the same ground where Sachin Tendulkar trained early in his career and which has produced or hosted senior India internationals including Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
