About This Opportunity
The National Science Seminar is a flagship annual event organized by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India. It provides a competitive platform for school students to delve into current science and technology issues, encouraging them to think critically and present their perspectives to the scientific community.
Open to students from classes 8 to 10 across India, the seminar features a multi-tiered selection process starting from the school level and progressing through block, district, and state levels. The winner from each state and union territory ultimately competes at the national event, gaining invaluable experience in research, public speaking, and scientific deliberation.
