About This Opportunity

The Nehru Science Centre Innovation Hub in Mumbai offers an Integrated Science Course designed to enhance school education and cultivate innovative thinking among students. This program adopts an inquiry-based, hands-on science learning approach, encouraging participants to identify real-life problems and develop practical solutions through investigative projects. It provides a unique environment for young minds to explore various aspects of science and technology.

This opportunity is specifically for students from Standard 6 to 10. Sessions are held every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Innovation Hub in Worli, Mumbai. The program has a limited capacity of 30 seats to ensure personalized attention and effective learning for all participants.

Participants will acquire practical skills across diverse scientific disciplines, including physics, chemistry, electronics, biology, and robotics. The curriculum features engaging activities like 'Kabad se Jugad' (building from scraps) and 'Tod Fod Jod' (dismantle and reassemble gadgets), which promote creative problem-solving and experiential learning. This course aims to build a strong foundation in STEM subjects.

The Innovation Hub provides state-of-the-art facilities, including a Hall of Fame showcasing inventors, an Innovation Resource Centre with online access to scientific materials, and a Tech Lab for robotics and microprocessor programming. Students can develop innovative ideas, create working models, and conduct investigative experiments under the guidance of experienced experts and mentors from the Nehru Science Centre and National Council of Science Museums.
