About This Opportunity
FTII's Professional Certificate in Integrated Film, AVGC and AI Production is a twelve-week intensive program for students who have completed Class 12. It explores the convergence of traditional filmmaking with AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Compositing) and AI-powered production techniques. The program is conducted at FTII's Centre for Open Learning (CFOL) in Pune, delivered by practicing faculty from India's most respected film institution.
The curriculum covers film production fundamentals, post-production workflows, AVGC tools and pipelines, and practical applications of artificial intelligence in creative production. Students gain working knowledge of industry-standard tools and workflows used across Indian and international film and media studios. The twelve-week intensive format ensures each module is applied and assessed through project work.
Participants complete the program with an FTII Professional Certificate, issued by the Film and Television Institute of India, a central government institution under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The FTII name carries significant weight in India's creative industry as a marker of serious engagement with the craft.
