About This Opportunity

SCIFF MAKE Cinema is the student filmmaking competition track of the School Cinema International Film Festival (SCIFF), organized by LXL Ideas. The competition invites school students to explore and express their creativity through film, taking ownership of the entire process from scripting through editing.

Entries are accepted across live action, animation, and documentary formats, in both short and feature lengths. Submitted films are screened during the SCIFF festival, which is hosted in schools across India and selected international locations.

Winning students join the youth jury at the next edition of SCIFF, gaining the opportunity to evaluate films alongside industry professionals. The competition encourages students to use cinema as a medium for storytelling and life-skills exploration.
